As the end approaches after very little drama beyond some relationship tensions suddenly things start to go wrong yet they convince themselves this is just an effort to make them forgo the prize.
No good will come of this.
At over twenty years old this feeble low budget horror really shows its age and it probably seemed weak at the time.
This was the time when reality TV was exploding, found footage horror was a big thing courtesy of Blair Witch and the Internet and fear of a "dark web" was being established even if I think the term hadn't yet been coined.
This is an attempt to mash all three together so we've grainy surveillance camera footage, some kind of nebulous game and a shady website and none of them really make any sense.
An interesting bit of history of early coverage of the "evil Internet" and ubiquitous surveillance but before the ideas really crystallised 4/10, boring.
