Night Swim

Former baseball star Ray Waller (Wyatt Russell) is struggling with life following a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. He and his wife Eve (Kerry Condon) are 'downsizing' and find a house they think will suit the family: it even has a pool which will be helpful for the hydrotherapy he's been recommended.

No good will come of this.

So apparently haunted swimming pools are a thing in Blumhouse land.

It's walking a difficult path: an unusual setup, real attempts to cover people facing reduced circumstances and seemingly a desire not to go for the really cheap jump scares. There are a few but so well telegraphed they're just not scary.

So it's kind of between two stools and thin on material. Well made, well acted but just very bland.

Don't bother 5/10.
