To keep the propaganda output going Katniss goes to be the face of a standoff with the armoury there to try and smooth the path to surrender. This doesn't go to plan and she is injured so President Coin recalls her to District 13 to follow up when the main assault is done.
Katniss has other plans: President Snow must die.
By this point they've sort of lost what made the first two great.
There's monologue.
There's iconoclasm.
There's really boneheaded "we're just as bad as the enemy now" tropes.
The team face weird magic tech traps that were kind of bullshit in the arena but doubly so in the Capitol.
At some point they're fighting humanoid monsters in tunnels and it's just so generic that the only thing making it look like Hunger Games is the fact Katniss is still using a bow and arrow.
The first and last 20% are OK but the other 60% of it feels like action filler. There are odd interludes/cameos that are probably from the book but add nothing.
A weak end probably brought on by bloating it out into two parts 6/10.
