This is playful with expectations. There's very little dialogue, no setup exposition and a win but no resolution.
Another great example of how horror and horror adjacent cinema seems to be willing to take risks in delivering simple entertainment that many other genres don't. It's only a monster movie it's not serious, it's not going to change anyone's world but they really tried avoid the well trod path. The destination is the same but the novelty was enticing.
