When a bar fight goes wrong mustered out Army Ranger Cameron Poe (Nic Cage) is imprisoned for second degree murder. He keeps himself out of trouble patiently doing his sentence until his parole.

When that day comes he is sent for transport home on a US Marshall's flight along with some of the "worst of the worst" including Cyrus "the virus" Grissom (John Malkovich).

Freaky

When the Blissfield Butcher (Vince Vaughn) begins his traditional homecoming rampage he grabs a cursed dagger from the hoard of an art collector as it speaks to him.

As he attacks his next intended victim, Millie (Kathryn Newton) he botches the blow but the blood sacrifice means their souls are swapped.

Face/Off

FBI agent Sean Archer (John Travolta) has pursued flamboyant terrorist Castor Troy (Nic Cage) for years after he shot and killed his son in an assassination attempt.

When he's finally brought to justice the showdown puts Troy in a coma, seemingly never to emerge.

It comes to light that Troy and his brother had planted a massive 'dirty bomb' in Los Angeles and it will go off in a matter of days. To infiltrate Troy's criminal network and persuade the brother to reveal the location of the bomb, Archer undergoes experimental surgery to take on his likeness including a face transplant.

The Rock

Faced with an inability to get justice for fallen comrades, Marine Corps General Frank Hummel (Ed Harris) steals a phalanx of missiles loaded with deadly VX nerve agent, grabs some hostages and takes over Alcatraz Island. From there he holds the city to ransom.

The US government plans an infiltration mission to eliminate the threat but needs help from two specialists: FBI agent and chemical weapons expert Stanley Goodspeed (Nic Cage) and the only man ever to escape alive from the infamous prison, John Mason (Sean Connery).

Hellraiser

Riley (Odessa A'zion) is a struggling waitress and recovering addict. She argues with her housemates about money and ends up storming out to stay with her boyfriend Trevor (Drew Starkey).

Trevor isn't doing so great either. He used to do courier work for an art gallery and says he knows where there is a warehouse full of "billionaire art shit" where he knows how to get in. They resolve to rob this of anything that looks valuable.

All they find there is an ornate black and gold cube.

Three years after the events of Westworld the park has been relaunched but trust in its safety is still low. Chuck Browning (Peter Fonda) and Tracy Ballard (Blythe Danner) are two high profile journalists invited by Delos for an all access tour and to report back on things hoping it will fix things.

The Andromeda Strain

During the height of the Cold War the US runs a classified project collecting samples from space.

One of the satellites suffers damage and re-enters Earth's atmosphere unexpectedly: landing near a small Nevada town.

Westworld

Friends Pete (Richard Benjamin) and John (James Brolin) have booked a vacation at Westworld: the futuristic theme park where you get to live out your fantasies with no consequences in a carefully constructed replica of the Wild West. Staffed by robots your every whim is catered to.

In the very first hour they pick a fight with a black clad gunslinger (Yul Brinner).

Phase IV

Following an unspecified "cosmic event" some ant colonies in the Arizona desert begin to attack predators and competing species in a seemingly organised way and build great geometric tower structures.

Scientist Dr. Ernest Hubbs (Nigel Davenport) organises a project to study them and if necessary destroy them as he considers this to be a great threat to humanity.

Recruiting mathematician/information theorist James Lesko (Michael Murphy) they set up a sealed lab adjacent to the colony and begin a battle of wills with the emerging intelligence.

Soylent Green

When a rich businessman is killed, Detective Thorn is assigned the case. He becomes convinced it was an assassination rather than a burglary gone wrong.

When his Superintendent tells him to drop the case, he refuses.

No good will come of this.

CW: 70s as fuck. Objectification of women. There's a literal class of women called 'furniture' who are concubines of a sort that are provided along with the apartments of the better off.

Rollerball

Jonathan E (James Caan) is the pre-eminent player in the violent sport of Rollerball, a kind of mashup of American Footbal, Roller Derby and Ice Hockey with motorbikes thrown in to the mix for added peril. It is the only sport of consequence in an indeterminate future ruled by global corporations.

After ten years with the Houston team he's still at the top of his game, his name on every fan's lips.

Near the end of the season it is suggested he retires. A TV career retrospective is planned. He will want for nothing for the rest of his life.

However Jonathan doesn't want to retire and doesn't understand why he's expected to.

He begins to ask questions. No good will come of this...

Don't worry darling

Alice (Florence Pugh) and Jack (Harry Styles) live an idyllic traditional 1950s life in the isolated desert town of Victory.

Everything is provided by the Victory Project, a secret endeavour on the outskirts where Jack works during the day hoping to change the world.

By day it's housework, shopping and gossip. By night it's parties, drinking and fun.

For security reasons the wives are asked not to leave town but one day, Alice sees a plane crash in the hills and goes to help.

Sorcerer

Four men (Roy Scheider, Bruno Cremer, Francisco Rabal & Amidou) all on the run find themselves in remote part of Colombia having left their old lives behind.

The only work is backbreaking manual labour for a US oil company that is drilling in the jungle and it pays nowhere near enough to get out to some place better.

When the company desperately needs some dynamite in dangerously poor condition transporting through the jungle it offers a large sum to anybody able to do the job.

They are just desperate enough to take the work.
