This is a take on the "rich people hunt undesirables for sport" thing but done in a blacker than black comedic way that's reminiscent of "Ready or not". It is not "Bacurau" though.
I knew nothing more than this going in and was very pleasantly surprised as it's funny as fuck.
The whole cast are excellent, especially Betty Gilpin and they keep you guessing on who's a protagonist and/or antagonist for a significant chunk of the first half.
It uses culture war conspiracy theories as a feed for the action but thankfully it's just poking fun at both sides rather than picking one.
Highly recommended as a beer and pizza movie 8/10.
