Called to many drug related incidents they notice an uptick in anomalous injuries and deaths. These seem to be related to the legal high "Synchronic", as they find opened packets at the scenes.
Steve takes it upon himself to remove Synchronic from circulation by buying up the stock from a local 'head shop' but is accosted by a man claiming to be its creator, who says it actually allows you to experience time differently.
No good will come of this.
The latest 'indie sci-fi' from Benson & Moorhead who were responsible for "Resolution" and "The Endless" this does time/causality travel exploration in a nice understated way.
There's nothing hugely new in the premise but they make it a very personal and chaotic experience. There are some story threads that seem unfinished, which is a shame as there was definitely scope in the running time to explore them more, but others that seemed unnecessary.
Worth a look, 7/10, but don't expect Avengers: Endgame style time travel shenanigans, this is the "next time, wear a coat" level of preparedness.
