The VVitch

A pilgrim family, cast out from their community for some disagreement, scrape a meagre living on the edge of the dark forest. Here they fall prey to misfortune, their own failings, and the titular witch.

A great piece of atmospheric work built from strong performances, dense archaic dialogue, a strident soundtrack and a sparse setting. Not particularly horrific or surprising but the journey is great 7/10.
